Humanitarian Aid from Indonesia to Palestine

Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto delivered a special message to the TNI soldiers carrying logistical assistance to the victims of war in the Gaza Strip, Palestine.

Because the logistical assistance sent by the TNI AL hospital helper, KRI Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992, will pass through the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea.

"This mission is quite dangerous because they are going through the war zone, that is, around the Gulf of Aden, the Red Sea.

U.S. destroyers are at war against Yemeni Houthi militants who support Palestinian independence.

The United States supported Britain in this, along with the countries of Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and the Republic of Korea.
The Houthis say their attacks in the Red Sea are a form of support for Palestinians surrounded by Israeli forces in Gaza.

Prabowo also hoped that the TNI soldiers on humanitarian missions would be protected.

Logistical assistance was transported using the hospital aid vessel (KBRS) of TNI AL, KRI Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992.

Symbolically, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of TNI AL (KSAL), Admiral Muhammad Ali, Prabowo released KRI Radjiman from the Military Cross-Sea Command (Kolinlamil), North Jakarta, on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

"But as a country that is supportive of Palestine, we do not feel that we have enemies in Yemen, and we are also a non-block state in good relations with some of the countries there," Prabowo said.

As for the logistical assistance, it was transported by KRI Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992.
Symbolically, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of TNI AL (KSAL), Admiral Muhammad Ali, Prabowo released the following KRI Radjiman along with his logistics assistance from Kolinlamil Harbour.

Logistical assistance will then be deployed to the port of El Arish, Egypt, to be further channeled to victims of the conflict in the Gaza Strip by authorities such as the Egypt Red Crescent.

Food, blankets, clothing, baby supplies, women's clothes, milk, field tents, sanitation, mineral water, and worship supplies were delivered by bringing 214 personnel to the Muhibah Satgas.

This cruise will then take the route Jakarta-Belawan-El Arish-Jeddah-Batam and return again to Jakarta.

The total time from sailing to returning to the homeland is targeted at about 52 days' journey.
